Reference-Grade Diffusion for Spatial Audio & Dolby Atmos
I integrated several of the Adelsklang QR-49 PRO Natural diffusers into a dedicated 13.10.12 home cinema to solve an overly damped RT60 and improve spatial envelopment. The build quality on these panels is exceptional, with precise mathematical wells that immediately went to work scattering critical midrange and high-frequency energy.
I deployed a row of these directly across the ceiling transition zone to act as an "acoustic bridge" between front absorbers and a rear array. The result was phenomenal: native Atmos objects now pan seamlessly overhead with incredible holographic "air" and zero phase smearing. For those requiring a high-contrast visual space, the natural wood takes matte black spray paint flawlessly without compromising the acoustic properties.
If you are building a high-channel-count immersive audio room and need to inject kinetic energy and spaciousness back into a dead space, these are worth every penny.
