Ampeg Venture V7
Ampeg Venture V7 purchased from Thomann in April 2025 £699.
Gigged this amp 4 times now and I am very impressed.
The typical scenario with amps..listening to them at home solo and we're not quite sure. But (for me) in the gig situation set against loud drums / guitar etc this amps sounds great and cuts through nicely. It's the ampeg rasp that I really like.
Very different sound to Markbass gear I'm used to and dialing in the right settings is very different too. But I really like it. Sounds pro and handles all frequencies well.
Got the carry bag for it too which is good (but not cheap).

Forget our heavy valve gear!
Incredibly versatile with the two grit modes.
Incredibly near to the valve thing.
Very flexible on volume and gain.
Perfect with P Bass, Stingray and Ultra JBass.
Enough power for a mid to large venue.
Delighted and great step forward from PF500

Nice modern amp
Amp is simple and does the job very well cant handle that much signal from like an active bass when on the normal mode tho....
