Good for retrofits and external mounting
I chopped the mini jack off, connected a piezo pickup and installed it in my newly built ukulele. It’s the heaviest part in the entire instrument but looks great and was very easy to mount. The groove is sufficient for holding a strap.

Very robust design. No more noise
IS is very handy to mount this jack for instruments like the saz. When you can not get into the body, this jack can be mounted from outside.

Sturdy and working as expected
Not much to say. It is a good stereo jack . Be sure to check the surface is flat where you are supposed to put it (and not rounded) and that you can route the stereo cable.

Fits takamine guitars and works perfectly. Cant complain at a great price.
