Artec SE-2A Bass Electronic Set

I struggled mounting it to the p-bass. It works but the signal level at the output is very low. The pickup is a standard p-bass pickup, not a fancy emg which requires dedicated preamp. It seems that it works with passive pickups but high output. Or maybe there is something wrong with my piece.... As a result I have active bass with signal so low that it barely exceeds the amp noise. But active tone controll works. A mystery and a big waste of time.

Excellent preamp for next to nothing. I recommend it!
