Cordial CIK 122 BL

I've used this to solder patch cords for my pedal board. The slim profile makes the board not as cluttered as it would be with a more standard diameter. Noise does not seem to be problem, and none of my patch cords have failed thus far.

For the money its hard to knock this cable, I used it primarily for wiring my pedalboard, the cable is really easy to work with and seems quiet robust. The only issue I found was that on the longer runs of cable you lose quite a lot of the high-end or treble frequencies on the cable. This could be resolved by using a high quality buffer but it would most likely be cheaper to use a higher quality cable to begin with!

At only 6mm diameter this cable is surprisingly strong and because of it's narrow section makes it incredibly flexible. Being easy to strip and solder I have found it to be perfect for making link leads for pedal boards when used in conjunction with the Thomann SK140 angled jack plugs and a 40mm length of shrink tube. The availability of different colours is also a nice touch allowing for colour coding your leads. The cable seems to be well insulated as I can detect no additional noise in the signal chain. Great product at a very good price. Well recommended.

I have bought this cable before, just in different colors. The cable is of very high quality, I have been using the same for 10 years and they are used very often (3-4 times a week). They are very flexible, they roll great. I think I bought several hundred meters in total and as soon as the need for more cable arises, I will take Cordial without a second thought. I recommend!

I made two 5-meter long cables with Neutrik jacks for 8€ each approximately. It doesn't get better than that. The cable is very good and sturdy. Very pleased!

Made up a couple of instrument leads with this stuff and the Neutrik NP2(r)X-B connectors, they have proved very reliable over the past 22 months, quality cable. Unlike cheap no-brand cable I haven't noticed any issues with it being microphonic.

Looks good, folds good, easy to strip and solder. Great value for money!
