Good set of strings, with the tone I wanted. I haven't had them on the bass long enough to comment on durbaility but I like them. It's worth noting that I've gone for a slightly heavier gauge than my lest set, to facilitate playing in drop C# (a 100-gauge bottom string got a bit too soft for comfort on my bass).

Lorsque Elixir à sorti ses cordes enduites, ce fut une petite révolution, en tout cas pour toutes celles et ceux qui ont tendance à bousiller leurs cordes ( et leurs micros par la même occasion) en un seul concert. Habitué depuis un certain temps aux cordes Ernie Ball Coated (qui ne sont plus vendues sur Thomann...) que je trouve plus fidèle au son d'origine d'une Stingray sur laquelle je joue, J'ai choisi d'essayer ces cordes D'Addario et j'ai été agréablement surpris. Comme Ernie Ball, aucun ressenti désagréable au niveau du revêtement. Le sustain est impeccable et aucune corrosion au bout de quelques semaines d'utilisation. Belle définition dans les bas-médium, le toucher reste très agréable. J'ai testé sur une Jazz Bass également, même constat. Une belle découverte.

Acheté en remplacement de mes vieilles cordes qui avaient beaucoup trop servi (j'aime le son des cordes usées).
Et la s'est le jour et la nuit, ma basse retrouve vie même si le son des cordes neuves que je n'aime pas d'habitude m'a enchanté. De plus se son métallique des cordes neuves s'estompe rapidement pour laisser place à des graves puissants et des aigus qui chantent.
j'ai testé plusieurs marques et tirant: rotosound,fender,skull sting et d'autres et pour moi se sont les meilleures que j'ai pu avoir.

Beste Saiten für langlebigkeit und Sound!

Habe die XTB's auf meinem Thunderbird in Drop D Stimmung. Über 6 Monate, bei ca. 20 Stunden pro Woche Benutzung, und die Saiten fühlen, und vor allem klingen immernoch genial!

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
