Exactly as intended

You buy one Decksaver, you know how all of them are. Not cheap for formed pieces of acrylic, but perfect for their job: protecting the instrument's front side from bumps, scratches, dust, and cats who enjoy sleeping on your gear.

There's nothing special about this one compared to any other Decksaver, it works exactly as intended which is all you could hope for. I'm really happy they made one for the Osmose though, as it's one of my fave instruments ever, and I'm glad I have extra protection for it when it's not in use.

Update:
Nach einem Jahr nochmal bestellt. Inzwischen nochmal 6€ teurer geworden. Diesmal einzeln (nicht mit anderen Produkten zusammen) bestellt und es ist alles gut. Bisher keine Kratzer oder sonsige Spuren entdeckt.

Trotzdem:
Decksaver schützen zwar vor Staub und auch Flüssigkeiten, sind aber selbst kratzempfindlich und Schweißpuren können einbrennen. Insofern ein teurer Luxus der nicht perfekt ist. Daher immer noch ein Stern Abzug.

Meine Kritik an der originalen Osmose Tasche bleibt unverändert.

Ein Jahr zuvor:
86€ (Stand 12-2024) für eine Kunststoffhaube ist schon eine Ansage. Immerhin ist die Paßform in Ordnung.

Erhält man aber ein augenscheinlich originalverpacktes Produkt mit Schleifspuren und eingebrannten Fingerabdrücken verärgert das schon ziemlich. (Ging deswegen zurück)

Leider braucht man die Haube dringend wenn man den Osmose in der originalen Tasche transportieren will. Die ist nämlich eine "Fehlkonstruktion" und widerspricht den eigenen, von Expressive E empfohlenen Lagerbedingungen - weil die Klett Befestigungslaschen ohne Haube permanent auf Tasten drücken was den Silikonfedern schadet.
