DiMarzio DP 219BK D Activator Neck

I had never purchased dimarzio pickups before As I normally play Seymour Duncan and bare knuckle
The tone of this pickup is amazing it has a deep bass and powerful clear treble it is similar to the bare knuckle stormy Monday
does not make a noise when tapped with a pick
I will be buying more deactivators in the future and would recommend it for any guitar upgrade that requires one

My favourite neck humbucker. It sounds like an EMG 60 pickup (but passive) and its the must cutting serially connected neck humbucker I've tried. By far and away my favourite. Definitely recommened.

These are great for metal in particular, really solid low end and decent mids that don’t really need much boosting. They seem to capture harmonics very well for humbuckers and they don’t get too muddy with high gain either. Dark enough that palm muting can be done at lower gain stages even.
