Excellent SC sound without the fuss!
So, you are after a SC sized pickup for the neck position. You would like a sound closer to classic single coils, but a bit more modern, more cutting through the mix and silent pup.
Well, here you go!
Very SC cleans (been using Fender CS69s for almost two decades, I don't miss them) and decent distorted sounds. Silent as a mouse, good price and good looks (if you don't mind the rails) and works great with 250K vol pots.
Now, it is probably the lowest output of the Dimarzio rails pups, so keep this in mind in case you want to combine it the a hot bridge pick up like the Fast Track 2 or Tone Zone S because it WILL be difficult to avoid any volume drops.
For reference, I use it in one of my strats with a Pro Track (or Tone Zone S, it depends) at the bridge position and a Cruiser Bridge at the middle position.

Nice pickup but...
not my cup of tea, for classic Strat snap I still prefer a proper single coil.
Really good tho, and good noiseless performance.

Another league
If you want single coil sound with a humbucker noise level, buy this and don't look back.
If you like Andy Timmons, buy this and don't look back.
It really sits between a single and a humbucker, sound-wise. It is very bright, and low output. Comparable with Seymour Duncan 59 on the neck, yet brighter than 59.
I play this pickup the most on which the guitar it sits and I play that guitar the most among my other 9 guitars.
It is loaded on a partscaster H-H guitar. The other humbucker in the bridge is Dimarzio Tonezone.
I spent 90% of my time on this pickup, that says a lot.
I am very satisfied with the purchase.
