I got a stereo pair today and I don't have to tweak it for days to know it's absolutely stunning.
It's got its very own, very distinctive character, especially when playing with resonanse, but also when the input signal level is high. Saturates in a really, really fat and musical way.
All they say about it is probably true. Doepfer delivered a serious banger, no doubt about it!
