Dragonfly Percussion Hard Leather Kick Drum Beater

I was never a fan of hard felt beaters. I play jazz on a 18" bass drum and I always used a bomber. This little fellow changed my life. It obviously has more attack than the bomber but since its heavier there is a lower pitch on the sustain and the attack is faded. The articulation is better than a hard felt since the attack changes according to the dynamics of your bass drum strokes.

In contrast to the wooden beaters, this one is very subtle when you hit soft. But it is very present when you hit hard. And with a very nice sound.
At the moment i prefer a wooden beater because I miss volume at alle levels. But this leather beater is a fine piece of worK
