DrumCraft 14"x6,5" Vanguard Snare Alu.

bit nervous buying the 14x6.5 aluminium vanguard but, this is one of the best snare drums i have played in 35 years of drumming, i honestly think it has the edge over my ludwig 400 ! and the price is unbelievable ! im considering buying the 5.5" vanguard. These really are very good.

If you're on a quest for a great aluminum snare, look no further than this. This is a wonderful snare which in my case came perfectly tuned, with a nice crackle and full-body sound. I tried some different tunings and this baby can handle all of them, from low thuddy sound to almost piccolo-esque. And price? Seriously, for this kind of money - it's unbelievable how good this thing looks and sounds.
