Great Tom Holder

I've been using this tom holder on the road for several years now and I couldn't be happier. I use it to hold up my 14" (floor) tom and also my 10" and 12" racks, depending on my setup that day.

Once you lock the ball joint into place, that thing does not move. I've had the the floor tom hanging on one of these for (literally) years and it hasn't budged a centimeter. The part that latches to your floor stand is also very reliable. No slipping whatsoever and it's able to fit around most every other brand of cymbal stand unless it's unreasonably thick. These are also compatible with memory clamps so you can consistently keep your toms where you like them.

I also use these tom holders to hold up the electric drum pads for my kit (rolands).

Very good tom holder

Use: I bought this tom holder to convert a Sonor Force 3007 floor tom from legs mounted to tom holder mounted, because I felt that the sound was not as open as i wanted it to be, i tested this by holding the tom in my hand and playing it versus playing it mounted on legs and i heard that the tone was much more open when not mounted on legs.
Pros: the holder is high quality, sturdy construction with included memory lock.
