Electro Harmonix Lizard King Bass Octave Fuzz

I bought this bass pedal so I can accommodate the issue of losing low end frequencies with a fuzz/distorted sound live. The lower octave does well to cover the lack of lows when switching to fuzz. I have to push it to max, but then the switch between clean and distorted sound is seamless in the bass frequencies.

The only problem I found was that the fuzz itself, even when set to the non bright option, is very wet and high. You can manipulate that from the tone and blend knobs, but it is still not as punchy as other pedals.
