Excellent Value for money

I sent back a more expensive mandolin by a different manufacturer as I thought the quality was poor. I choose this as it looked better from the pictures even though it was considerably cheaper, and also Epiphone have a reputation to uphold. I was not disappointed. The build quality and attention to detail is excellent. The sound is good for such a cheap instrument. It's ideal for my purposes. I reckon you'd need to pay 400 to 500 or more to match the quality of this particular mandolin.

Très bon instrument pour apprendre !

Instrument très bien fini pour un guitariste qui comme moi souhaite apprendre la mandoline juste par curiosité.
les + :
- Finition peinture en sunburst / vernie de bonne facture, l'on aperçois les veines du bois
- Rapport qualité prix correcte
- Sonorité agréable et équilibrée
- Instrument agréable à l'œil

Les - :
- Le cordier fait un peu cheap
- le vernis à l'air très très épais, ce qui donne un coté plastique, problème répandus dans toute l'industrie des guitares depuis des années pour tirer les couts vers le bas.
- Manuel pour l'installation du chevalet manque un peu de précisions.
- Je reviendrais plus tard avec plus de recule pour la fiabilité, voir comment vielli l'instrument.

Mandoline mit guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Die Epiphone-MM-30 Mandoline ist ein sehr gutes Einsteigermodell.

Klanglich kann sie natürlich nicht mit den 2000Euro Flagschiffen mithalten. Trotzdem ist der Klang ausgewogen und für die Preisklasse absolut in Ordnung. Besonders nach einigen Aufnahmen im Studio war ich froh diese Anschaffung gemacht zu haben.
Als ich die Mandoline das erste mal in der Hand hatte, war besonders die Optik hervorstechend. Wundervolles Vintage Sunburst und Goldene Hardware.
Trotz des Mahagoni-Holzes ist die Mandoline leicht zu tragen.

Als Resumee ist zu sagen, dass es Epiphone für eine solch' niedrige Preisklasse immer wieder schafft gute Produkte herzustellen, bei denen man das ausgegebene Geld nicht bereut, im Gegensatz zu anderen 'NoName'-Herstellern.

Ich musste die Bruecke selbst "montieren". Diese lag verpackt im Instrumentenkarton. Die Verarbeitung finde ich, gemessen am Preis, erstaunlich gut. Auch das Sunburst ist sehr elegant. Die Goldhardware finde ich ein bissl übertrieben. Der Sound ist echt ok. Die Mando klingt überhaupt nicht dünn. Im Gegenteil!! Und durchsetzungsfähig ist sie auch.

Kurzum: ein tolles Teil für (sehr) wenig Geld.
