Przez prawie 2 dekady gitarowego boga Erica Claptona można było zobaczyć/usłyszeć niemal wyłącznie z jego „Blackie” składającym się z 3 Stratów.

Kiedy następnie zdecydował się wysłać ją na zasłużoną emeryturę, Fender zbudował mu gitarę dokładnie wzorowaną na Blackie's, z kilkoma dodatkowymi prośbami od mistrza.

Dzięki klonowej szyjce i nowym przetwornikom Vintage Noiseless, Clapton Strat ma bardzo wyraźny pierścień, który można jeszcze bardziej wzmocnić za pomocą znanej kontroli tonu TBX; jednak, ponieważ Eric ostatnio cieszył się również nieco grubszym tonem, gitara ma również bardzo skuteczny mid-boost; gdy jest aktywowany, solówki znów śpiewają w najlepszy sposób Woman Tone.

Bardzo wszechstronny instrument, na którym lubią grać nawet gwiazdy, które nie nazywają się Clapton.

Great guitar with one major issue

The guitar is visually stunning. I have no complaints about the sound. It's a pure Clapton. The neck is also very comfortable to play. Straight out of the case, it plays great, but it needs a little adjustment. The strings were slightly too high on the nut, so the slots had to be trimmed. The only real drawback is the frets. Mine needed replacing after a year and a half. It's a bit of a shame, especially compared to my 20-year-old Fender, where the frets had only been polished. This shouldn't happen on a guitar at this price. After the replacement, the guitar sounds fantastic.

Blew me away

I was always a bit sceptical about buying a Clapton Strat because of the V shaped neck but this fits like a glove. I couldn't believe the ease of action and feel considering I don't have big hands and long fingers like Eric Clapton does.
There's a whole array of tones to be found from this guitar. From clean sparkly glassy sweet tones to the ferocious heavy tone to be had once the simple to use Treble Boost circuit is engaged. Everything about this guitar is simply fantastic.

Une guitare à (preque) tout faire

Après avoir longuement étudié les tests divers et variés de pas mal de modèles de Stratocaster, mon choix s'est porté sur cette Clapton signature.

Esthétiquement, c'est très subjectif, mais je l'adore dans cette livrée olympic white (blanc légèrement crème), la qualité est au rendez-vous, seul bémol, comme sur toutes les Strat, le pickguard est un peu cheap, sa finition pas extraordinaire.

Les mécaniques sont d'excellente facture, elle a une très bonne tenue de l'accordage (le vibrato bloqué d'usine aide un peu je pense).

Passons au plus intéressant, le son : C'est là que je pense que cette Strat se démarque des autres. Les micros noiseless ont un excellent rendu et le fait de pouvoir booster les médiums permet vraiment de couvrir tous les genres musicaux, en allant du son lourd au cristallin. C'est vraiment une guitare très polyvalente.

Un petit bémol toutefois sur les potentiomètres dont le réglage n'est pas forcément linéaire, ce qui réclame un petit temps d'adaptation pour trouver ce qu'on cherche.

Fender Clapton Strat - fetter Sound!

Ich bin seit drei Jahren stolzer Besitzer der Fender Clapton Stratocaster und finde diese Gitarre genial!

Die Gitarre ist, wie bei Fender üblich, makellos verarbeitet und kommt im Tweed Case.
Die Strat klingt, ohne den Mittenboost gespielt wie eine Strat klingen soll, sie klingelt und ist spritzig, dreht man den Midboost dazu, wird sie wirklich satt, voll und kräftig.
Einzig mit dem V - Profil des Halses muß man klarkommen.

Ich finde die Clapton Stratocaster äußerst vielseitig und leicht bespielbar.
Der Batterietausch wird über das Tremolofach durchgeführt, kein eigenes Batteriefach, finde ich perönlich sehr gut da die Gitarre trotzdem ihren altbekannten Scharm behält.
Fazit: Eine sehr vielseitige Strat die alles bietet, was man sich von einer Strat wünschen kann!
