The best gig bag for short scale bases
Got this gig bag for my Squier Bronco Bass, can't be more happy about it. I also have a Fender 610 gig bass for Mini Strat and it works just as great. I like the all around package, where you have a cool design, a decent protection and practicality. The only con I can think of is the availability in stores, obviously that's not the problem with Thomann, but try to find it in your local store! That's a trouble. Because short scale basses aren't so common, I suppose.

One of the few short scale options
The usual Fender gig bag quality. So perfectly fine for what you are paying. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options to choose from when you are looking for a short scale bass gig bag. It would have been nice if there was a tweed colorway, to go with my tweed guitar and long scale gig bag.
Shipping and handling by Thomann was great as always.

Nice bag
So, I got this with a short scale Harley Benton Bass (Highly recommended).
It's a nice case, the extra compartments fit straps, a tuner and cables easily.
Zip's seem good.
Stating the obvious, but it's only a lite gig bag and as such it wouldn't really protect it from much if dropped etc.
Recommended so far ( 10 weeks in)

Just an OK gigbag
There’s not much room for storage and it folds over itself all the time. Very simple and a bit disappointing but does the job.

Just great
This line of Fender gigbags is definitely a step forward as compared to the stock gigbags they provide(d) with their new MIM guitars. Convenient, robust and stylish, really pleasant to use.

it?s a fine bag
one thing that annoys me so much about it is the pocket, it needs to be bigger you cant even fit A4 sheet music in it. but the straps and overall quality is good but the pocket, man, the pocket.

The intonation was a bit off, otherwise a great instrument. I would definitely buy it again

Perfect for Mustang-style basses
Got two for a Squier Bronco and a Harley Benton MV-4MSB. Both fit like a glove!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Solid, Well‑Designed Gig Bag for Short‑Scale Basses
The Fender FBSS‑610 gig bag is a great choice for anyone using a short‑scale bass. The padding is generous enough to feel safe, the outer material is sturdy, and the overall construction gives a reassuring sense of durability. The fit is snug without being tight, and the instrument sits well protected inside.
The shoulder straps are comfortable, the handle feels secure, and the front pocket is practical for carrying small accessories. For rehearsals, lessons, or everyday transport, it offers exactly the level of protection and convenience you expect from Fender’s 610 series.
Visually, it looks clean and modern, and the materials feel better than what you usually find in this price range. A reliable, well‑made gig bag that does its job very well.
