Fender Roadworn Guitar Machine Heads

One out of six machines from original purchase was bad - it wouldn't turn past a certain position. This was happening only with string under tension. When string was taken off, it would rotate fine. Super weird. I returned the whole set and got a replacement set from Thomann. Took a while, but got the new set in the end.
Now, in the new set, also one out of 6 machines is bad. I don't feel like there's much point in going through the hassle of returning it again. I suppose you get what you pay for, as these are in fact dirt cheap as for Fender parts. I'll just have one of the tuning machines mismatched - low E peg will be a regular finish, not road worn. Tough, and a really bad mark on Fender with this being an original part. On a positive note they look great. Very convincing aged finish.
