Fender Cover for Hot Rod Deluxe

This cover is good enough to protect your amp from dust or rain (obviously temporarily). If that's what you need, get it. If you're thinking of something sturdier to protect it against bumps and a moving it around a lot, get something else.

Ok so you've bought the fender hot rod deluxe iii and your putting it in and out of the car,in and out of bars,pubs,clubs,back into your music room and then out to the bands rehearsal room.........BUY A FLIPPIN COVER. it will protect your amp which means it will hold its value or even gain it 50 years on when it doesn't have a mark on it and ending up being worth a fortune to some fender nut!

The Fender cover isn't the strongest or toughest and doesn't really function as much more than a dust cover. If I was in a traveling band with roadies packing gear in a truck, I doubt this would be of much use in protecting the amp. I have repaired it many times with Gorilla duct tape, so it is still doing the job.

I bought this for my DIY fender 112 speaker enclosure. This was built to the same spec as the blues deluxe reissue and of course this fits perfectly. It seems a strong enough material to keep the cab safe from dust, scratches and maybe a small amount of rain. Other than that, it is as you'd expect.

The cover appears to be a genuine Fender made one but who knows. The quality of the material is sufficiently good enough to lead me to believe it will last a long time.
It is not padded but it will offer some protection from scratches in and out the van/car etc.
Overall a good accessory to have.

I was mainly just really pleased that Thomann sold these. I had borrowed an amp for a gig and lost the amp cover. I searched but couldn't get hold of one anywhere. So i checked on Thomann and they had one at a great price. Really happy!

No more to add than just - it fits perfectly :)

It does the job, bit pricey but seems good quality
