Could be better
Did I expect a touring grade flight case for the price? Of course not. For home use and the odd trip out to record this is adequate to protect the mixer and handy to keep dust off when not in use. It could be used as a live- in case as all the connections remain accessible. I suspect that the hinges will not last and I don't think it would survive the foot of a careless drummer standing on it. My main gripe is that whilst the neoprene interior has been cut neatly to fit the sides of the desk, the gap between the pots and the interior lid means that it can flop around in transit. The addition of two wedge shaped strips to raise the desk in the case would mean that it was snug against the lid and would also create a cavity beneath for storage. I tried raising it by putting the manual in but it's not thick enough or wedge shaped, so here we are. It's a shame that the case is not quite right when a couple of wedges would fix this but perhaps this could be added to future models. I will probably make my own.

Flyht Pro Case Tascam Model 12
The case is exactly as described. Fits the Tascam model 12 with some space left for mics and cables . Have not tested it through airport yet . For the price it’s great . It’s a bit bigger than expected. So if u want something more streamlined maybe it’s not for u .

Nice lightweight case but…
But seems not so durable, as you could want.
Also not understand why there is so much free space, so even with DeckSaver mixer jumping back and forth, so I ended using additional softpad.

Tascam flightcase
Bought this 3 years ago to protect my Model 12
It fits perfectly and travelled with me to the USA and back several times and is constantly on the road and going strong. The case is well built and is perfect if you need a good form of protection and transport for your mixer.
