Focusrite Clarett+ OctoPre

I used to have the original Octopre in 2003, this is a totally different league, really good preamps and A/D. It could have more features like individual polarity flip, individual phantom power for every channel not just for 1-4 and 5-8, but these are not deal breakers. Worse is a lack of pads - if your source is too loud and a microphone has no internal pad, all you can do is buy an external pad, which is not ideal. Adding a switchable pad for every channel, which doesn't even require a separate button as it could be realised by switching the function of the single button on each channel (just like the Air or Insert functions are), should be really easy for Focusrite, it's a serious miss.
