This is a solid hook and will keep your lighting safe along with everyone around it. It's easy to make short cuts where safety is concerned and a large part of the time you may well get away with it. This self locking hook is perfect for small to midrange units up to 100kg which is a hell of a load for such a small unit. You would expect to pay more than ?14.30 for such a solid item.
I'm very happy with mine and as my rig expands, I'll be ordering more of these.
