I bought the Goldo Back Box for a Hamer guitar with tremolo bridge, which was having some tuning problems when using the trem. The guitar has a traditional Wilkinson floating bridge with 2 point achor to the body. The trem has a 3 spring set up in the cavity like so many other guitars with vintage trem arrangements.
The Back Box comes with some simple instructions and diagram/photo - mine were written in both English and German. There are some instructional video's on line from other guitarists wanting to help us with our installation and it may help to look at them prior to installation as they point out some of the extreme pitfalls that could occur with your installation - such as drilling through to the front of your guitar. I got an overview from these video's but found the Backbox is actually simple enough to install provided you follow the instructions. ***Please note that I am not a guitar tech, but my experience was that (as the online video's suggests) you must have your guitar set up exactly as you require prior to installing the back box, otherwise the installation will be much more difficult when making adjustments***
I openly admit I bought two of these (having read some previous reviews) and initially installed them both, but eventually settled for having just one, and after some tweaks and adjustments found it works extremely well.
My guitar now stays in tune even after heavy trem use and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
