It’s not an AEA, but for the money it’s a genuinely solid ribbon microphone. I use it mainly for stereo recordings of singing bowls, gongs, bells and various sound effects, and it performs very well in that role.
One thing to keep in mind: it is extremely sensitive and definitely benefits from a good-quality preamp with plenty of clean gain.
