Gotoh GB2 4L B Bass Tuners

As the headline says, the tuners are very nice and sturdy. However, the screws strip easily (even with a perfectly fitting bit) and if they don't strip then they break. I drilled new holes for the screws so tuners would fit, but they broke and stripped anyway. I didn't want to risk ruining more screws after about 4 or 5 getting stuck in the bass so I had to find others that wouldn't fail.
I saw another reviewer say the same thing a year ago exactly. Gotoh should be ashamed that they haven't fixed such a simple issue.

If you do end up buying this and run into the same problem, I made do with some small Ikea screws. Not ideal but at least they didn't strip or break.
