Great practice book with lots of varied exercises for improving your playing in general. Bear in mind this book will not make you an expert in any one field but will definitely help make you a more confident all round player. Also, once you’ve been practicing for a year, you will probably still find yourself coming back to it occasionally as a primer for new styles of playing. Furthermore, with a little imagination I’ve used it for my ukulele too (they share reentrant tuning after all) and it helped there as well. Would recommend this to a fellow newbie.
