Harley Benton Beatbass FL VS Vintage Series

Typically I was not used to playing either short scale nor fretless, but I really love the violin bass design and this one from HB seemed very tempting. I must say the tone is great, I especially like to play it standing on the ground (so like upright) which is affecting the tone and the way you play it. With very little setup and proper strings you can really get quite close to beautiful upright bass sound which is fantastic. But the instrument is actually versatile to if you want just to have it as a vintage, short-flat sound of Beatles you can also achieve that. Overall this is very relaxing instrument to play sounding and looking gorgeous with very little money. Lastly - it just looks great on my wall :P
