Harley Benton CG-45 NS B-Stock

I bought this guitar for new students to use in lessons. This is excellent value for money and comes well packed with additional scratch plate and allen key for truss rod adjustment. After a quick set up to lower the action the guitar stays in tune and is easy to play. I have bought a number of Harley Benton products and have been very impressed with the quality for the price. This guitar is no exception and looks good for the money. For 51 euros including postage you can't expect a fantastic tone from the laminate structure but as a starter guitar this ticks all the boxes.

This guitar should not sound or play as well as it does straight out of the box......its less than 45EURO !
It sounds particularly good played with a glass slide for Blues and is louder than I expected when strummed. It also has good note separation for finger picking pieces too.
Upgrading this model with a pro' set-up, TUSQ brand nut and bridge and better tuners will make it sound, play, look and feel like an instrument worth 4 times its price for a fraction of that cost.....GREAT GUITAR

Terrible guitar, not worth any money, it's just so hard to play! Does stay in tune quite well though.
