Nice feeling and looking cables for that clean and vitnage style soldering.
These are high quality cables, and i prefer this wax/cloth over the plastic coating. It rolles back and gives you clean soldering (without melting plastic) and it closes the gaps of exposed wire nicely.

Nice cable
Does the job. Hard feeling but it makes it easier for me to set it up.

It does the job.
Not pre-tinned like I am used to and very white (but hidden from view most of the time, so who cares). Not being pre-tinned means they are not pushback compatible...you have to cut around with a sharp knife and pull the end off. Fiddly at best for tired old eyes and hands. I will look further.

I haven't soldered it yet. But it feels like a good cable in my hands. The conductor cross-section is about 0.7 mm. Good braiding, easy to move.
Thomann - But why twist the ends of the cable like that, by the rolled-up cable??
There are special packaging clamps for this!

nice looking but brittle
like the heading says - thw wire is nice looking, i like the fabric but it's kind of brittle, easily snaps.

Great vintage braided wire for a great price
It does what it says! No need for higher priced wires, this one is perfect.

Good cloth wire
Not much to say, it gets the job done. Not sure if it's 22 AWG or 24. But solder adheres well.
