I must say this is a good quality piece of murchandise and looks beautiful ... but ... it is described as fit for ST type guitars and it doesn't fit on my ST-20 BK. The holes for the pickups are too small and don't accommodate the ST-20 pickups, the neck cutout is too narrow (as is the tailpiece cutout) and the screw holes are all (except for 2) in the wrong place so drilling the guitar will be neccessary. I presume it is meant for a different brand of ST.
It is unfortunate but I feel that if I spend some time and carefully get to work on it with a file, I should be able to get it how I want it.
I'm not angry but I am a little disappointed as it's made from high quality material and is the exact look that I wanted. I'll keep it and mod it to suit the job.
The pickguard is well-made and looks great. I do not know how well the holes would align with Fender specs, as I used it on a self-assembled guitar. The only negative thing is that it is even harder to shape (I had to cut away some of the material close to the neck pocket) than a normal pickguard. It makes way more dust than any pickguard I have ever worked with. Overall still a good product.
This guitar looks cool, but the wood part behind the plastic is missing, and so are the neck and strings. You can plug in through a hole but no sound comes out. Luckily I whistle. :)
I tried this pickguard and compared it with the ones of Fender and i really cant se a big difference.
The price is really good and I the quality is as I would wish it to be
The quality of the material is right for the price.
Unfortunately, the tortoise pattern is not good looking (which important in a pickguard). It does not let any light reflect on it, the effect is opaque and the yellow stains of the pattern look fake.
Also, the black back is rubbery, which makes this pickguard way harder to carve if necessary.
Not an exact fit but once you get it working, it looks great

I changed this to my Mexican Player Series (Standard) Stratocaster and the fit wasn't exact. I had to sand down where the next meets to make it fit. That wasn't a hard thing to do and now it fits almost perfectly. No screws had to make new holes or go in sideways. All in all a great pickguard, looks amazing and feels just like a Fender one (which is about 50€ pricier) so if you're not afraid to sand it down a little, then I highly recommend this instead of the Fender pickguard. Especially if you're on a budget like me.
Hi, I was afraid when I was actually buying it, but I was surprised when I passed through the elite, and I like it very much. I have a very good quality and solid structure. I have very bright colors shining bright on stage thanks thomann for selling such a cheap product.
