I’ve always heard that Harley Benton guitars offer incredible value, and this model proves it. The guitar looks fantastic - the burnt neck gives it a unique, premium vibe. The finish is clean, the locking tuners are great to have, and the Babicz trem bridge is something you’d expect on much more expensive instruments.
The neck itself feels very comfortable, especially for players without large hands. The modern profile plays smoothly, and the fretwork is impressively well done for this price range. The pickups are decent - definitely better than the Roswells in the Fusion III - though they’re still the most likely future upgrade for me.
Tonally, the Modern Strat Plus easily keeps up with Fender Player models (Player 1 and Player 2). The sound is clear, dynamic, and honestly very close to the Fender, with surprisingly usable split-coil tones. The Babicz bridge also keeps tuning ROCK solid, even with heavier trem use.
Overall, I’m genuinely very happy with this guitar. It feels great, plays great, and sounds almost identical to a Fender Player that costs nearly €300 more. Harley Benton really nailed it with this one. And big props to Thomann as well of course - my package arrived in just two days, and their QC team checked the guitar thoroughly before shipping. No surprises, just another great experience with Thomann :)
