Worth the money!
The price seems high compared to some other stands available with the same capabilities but this one is half the weight of most others and also collapses down to a smaller transport size. As well as that, it's safer as there's no exposed gear finger-traps.
I run a one-man setup so other heavier wind-up stands I've used were much more difficult to work with. This one is ideal as it's possible to carry with one hand if needed, plenty of height to work with and doesn't require a long space during transport.

Really impressed!.
Top lighting stand / speaker stand. The hand crank works on some kind of internal suspension cable, this cranks super easy, and lifts crazy amounts of weight, with almost no effort, I’m kicking myself for not getting this much sooner, for many years, I struggled badly with the cheapest manual lighting stands, for almost no reason whatsoever. Trust me, you’ll feel the difference over a manual stand without the crank, big time!. Wouldn’t go back to the old ones for a million bucks.

Sturdy and light
These stands are very sturdy, but the lightest I could find. I don't put huge weight on them, but they seem like they could handle quite a bit. Go really high which is great for lighting a band.

Hercules light stand HC-LS-700B
This stand is very well made and stable. I am using it for 2x ADJ ON-X and 2 x Stairville MH-X20 spots. Lifting these to a good height is nice and easy, and the height markers on the extension bar will be very useful to get matching heights when I buy another of these stands soon. The stand although strong is just about as heavy as I would wish for. A strong stable stand without being excessively heavy. Just the job for my gigs. Two of these stands will be even better, but will have to save up for two more MH-X20,s and another stand. 5 stars to this stand and to the Thomann team service.

Great stands but packaging needs improvement
I have 6 of these already and recently purchased 4 more from Thomann for my set up. They are excellent. Light alloy, the winch is discrete so no chance of trapping points, they look cool and function perfectly.
Unfortunately the T bar that is supplied with them, can turn round in the box and through the normal 'no care' from couriers can significantly damage the stand. Either dents in the tripod leg or bending the winch pivot bolt.
Two of the initial 6 stands were damaged this way and I spoke with the supplier and suggested they contact the manufacturer and use better packaging to prevent contact, ie bubble bag, but having now bought 4 more, its clear the packaging is just the same and one of the 4 from Thomann is damaged beyond safe use and another has a 'dink' I can live with.
Make sure you quality check and function them immediately after unpacking.
Otherwise an excellent stand fit for purpose.
