Ibanez RG2027RXL-DTB

As a veteran Gibson Les Paul player, I got into Ibanez necks and fretboards one year ago. I must confess I was a bit scared about moving from my first RG470 to this monster, but it was no big deal at all. After adjusting the action and small corrections in the bridge, now I can honestly say this is by far my best guitar, in terms of features, quality, sound and versatility. The 7th strings heats you hard, and its low sound is memorable. The difference in the freatboard width is unnoticeable, although you need to adapt your fingers to the 7 strings if coming for the regular ones. The freatboard feels smooth, and the only thing you'll notice is the extra-stretch on your fingers for the first 1-5 frets due to its 27", but nothing painful if you did your routine before getting here. The bridge and the tremolo keep strings tuned for days unless you're dive bombing or extremely bending all day long, but I don't think there's any bridge going through that for free. The finish, the color, the touch, the sound, sharp and sweet on the highs and thick and dense on the lows, everything is worth its price. That's a beauty to be in love with that won't ever dissapoint you. On top of that, the perfect service by Thomann, as usual.
