IK Multimedia iRig Pre 2

Very easy to use. I have linked it to my Smart Phone using a USBC to Jack converter. Plug in and Play.

All I had to do was select the microphone input in my camera settings and the sound quality difference was unbelievable. Really handy that it has Phantom Power also. Very easy to record things with high audio quality when out and about directly onto the video. Rather than recording audio separate and layering onto the video afterwards.

As I improve my setup for recording audio and video while on the move, this seemed an ideal tool to use my new Shure SM57 with my iPad and Android ‘phone - Delighted to say that in the short period of testing since opening the package, it’s been amazing.

Incredibly simple to use, very portable and has delivered great results even without me not really knowing what I’m doing 🙂
