Medium-soft and great for separate notes
I disagree with JGs statement that this is a mallet with “endless possibilities for sound color“. The ergonomics are almost identical to the B3 model but the difference with this one is that it is front weighted. It produces warm, clear and direct tones but it’s not the best mallet for rolls. It is very nice for separate notes but not so manageable for rolls at greater dynamics.
