Great quality, extremely powerful !
Currently playing on a Vandoren V16, I wanted to get a mouthpiece with a little more bite to play in a electric band. I use a Jody Jazz Jet on tenor which I'm very happy with so when I saw the release that Quasar, I was sold.
The MP is very well finished, it plays very well in the lows and altissimo.
It is VERY powerful !! A little too much to my taste I must say but the sound is nice, it's not honky like some other powerful mouthpieces.
WARNING: I use a Vandoren Optimum ligature on my other hard rubber mouthpieces but it's too big for the Quasar ! I had to buy another ligature (I bought the Ybrato which I find very performent).
