Good choice for playing on hand-tuned timpani with calf heads.
I bought these to use with my hand-tuned timpani with calf heads. I ‘voiced’ them slightly and am very pleased with the sound they produce. The only weak point is the ink on the label which has worn off - doesn’t affect the sound though!
I haven’t used these on timpani with plastic heads, preferring slightly lighter sticks with bamboo shafts (Morbeys) on these.
All in all, a good purchase.
