2 channelmixer mount.
Popped the back plate off my 2 channel mixer (6 screws), attached the K&M yoke to the back plate with the bolts provided, re'fitted the back plate to my mixer.
The other part of the K&M with the swivel, is attached to my lower speaker stand centre pole with a "U bolt clamp" AKA, Satellite antenna clamp.
This "for me" is the perfect set up.
There is many other ways of using these. I am solo and in small venues, so I must squeeze into small spaces. This K&M swivel is the answer.
Lucky I have Thomann online to browse through hundreds of variations on this K&M fitting and it even looks "the business" when assembled.

New design (2025) does not hold firmly. Previous was great.
This product has changed its construction since last time I bought it at Thomann.
K&M unfortunately changed the system of locking V-block in and it does not work at all.
Previously there was a screw and now there is only pushable button. It does not connect firmly to the other part and it is causing RATTELING / CLATTERING / CLACKING.
I already have several products with this V-block "shoe" from K&M and from Schlagwerk and this innovation makes the product unusable. Impossible for example for frame drum but also impossible for notation stand - even the wind would cause the noise when moving installed notation table. Horrible innovation :-)

Inconvenient, not secure, not all-metal
I prefer the classic screw-back hinge. This quick connect type comes off accidentally easier than I'd like with the 118 (wooden) top but also does not click together easily. If the top clicked in with no effort but also stayed positively locked until the back lever is pressed, this would be an ideal replacement part. Neither happens, so this is a disappointment. Also, the lever is plastic. Plastic breaks easily.

Just what i needed...
My living room being quite small, I needed a way to mount a mic without a tripod
Bought this product & together with a long gooseneck it allowed me excatly that
Plus, i was SO lucky it mounted PERFECTLY on top of one of the handles of my Eden Nemesis RS410 bass combo?
When not using it, you simply unscrew the big bolt & remove the whole thing & stash it away
Proof positive that products don't need to be expensive to be great : only well thought out
This is one such product !

Brilliant and useful
Love these accessories. Converting all of my church over to these for music stands and LCD displays. Works great and can't find anything wrong with it.
I would only suggest you check the weight of the items going on it and check you have a stand suitable to support it with a nice weighty metal base.
