Not perfect - but (almost exactly) what I was looking for

It is exactly what I was looking for. A small, elegant audio interface for a single microphone.

Some Linux Troubles:
I was initially disconcerted by the fact that the software seemed to be a tough requirement but that's not really the case. I spend most of my time on Linux where the software is not available. Fortunately the settings are stored on the device itself. Thus you can just configure it on Windows or even in a VM and then use it on Linux just fine.

General Usage:
The Connect 2 reacts to inputs instantly and even without the software everything is pretty intuitive. I can't talk too much about the sound quality as I lack comparisons but from what I can tell it's pretty clear and undistorted.

Fun fact: The developers of the Lewitt software seemingly reused everything from the Connect 6 - they didn't even bother to rename the configuration directory on Windows.

Ich habe mir das LEWITT Connect 2 bei Thomann gekauft, weil ich einige Videos darüber bei YouTube gesehen habe. Ich brauchte für unterwegs an meinem Macbook ein kleines Interface, um hochwertige Audioaufnahmen auch mobil in den Kasten zu bekommen. Was das angeht haben sich all meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Das Connect 2 ist super verarbeitet, funktioniert einwandfrei (betreibe daran das Lewitt LCT 441 flex) und ist klein und leicht genug, um es in der Notebook-Tasche mit verschwinden zu lassen. Am Anfang war ich bezüglich der Bedienung etwas verwirrt, weil alle geblinkt hat und kein Signal übertragen wurde. Aber irgendwie habe ich es hinbekommen und nun läuft es. Ich würde es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Ich habe das Lewitt Connect 2 nun seit rund 5 Monaten im Tonstudio im Einsatz und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. Das Interface ist superleicht zu bedienen, ideal auch für Einsteiger. Dank der passenden Software, die man herunterladen kann, bekommt man richtig viel geboten. Besonders praktisch ist der integrierte Clip-Schutz – so übersteuert das Mikrofon nicht.

Anschließen und Einrichten ist kinderleicht, und für den Preis ist das Gerät wirklich ein Hammer. Ich bin vom Steinberg UR22C umgestiegen, und gerade für Einsteiger finde ich das Lewitt Connect 2 die deutlich bessere Wahl. Absolute Empfehlung!
