Put this in a Telecaster with a 1meg volume pot. Best telecaster neck sound I've ever heard! It's loud and fat, but not at all muddy or indistinct.

It's not cheap, but it's worth everything I paid for it and then some.

Remplace avantageusement un WideRange Cunife

Le wide range de ma tele deluxe mexicaine ne sonnait pas bien (en précisant que Fender n'avait pas installé un potentiometre en 500Ko mais en 250Ko, ce qui enlevait bcp d'aigus). J'ai reflechi à installer un cunife widerange comme sur les tele americaine, que j'avais eu l'occasion d'écouter, mais sur un coup de tête j'ai commandé le Lollar. Il est parafiné (wax potted) et encaisse donc les distorsions mais reste organique. Les graves sont chaleureux et précis mais jamais "boomy" (là encore, je précise que j'ai changé le potentiometre pour un 500Kohm), le son parfaitement équilibré, avec un bon niveau de sortie. La guitare change donc de catégorie avec un micro pareil. Pas pu faire un vrai comparatif avec un cunife mais il m'a semblé que le Lollar est plus ouvert, plus vivant que son homologue chez Fender. à noter que j'ai dû creuser le corps au niveau des quatre vis du micro qui étaient trop longues pour l'espace prévu dans la guitare.

Ich habe den Lollar als Neckpickup in einen Squier-Tele mit ebenfalls neuen Potis eingebaut und im Vergleich zu vorher liegen Welten dazwischen. In allen Zerrstufen von Clean bis Rectefier unglaublich transparent und nie muffig. Zwar ein stolzer Preis, aber gerechtfertigt.

Remplace un fender wide range

Micro qui vient en remplacement d’un fender widerange sur ma telecaster custom reissue. Que des points positifs, son net, basses précises, belle présence d’aigu sans être criard, plus silencieux que le Fender. Je découvre Lollar pour la première fois sur une de mes guitares et je ne suis pas déçu. Attention, le format est différent d’un humbucker traditionnel.
