An absolute must have. You can put anything in it, any kind of spigots, baby pins, anything irregular fits too.
The tightening is great and can hold quite a surprising big load.
I highly recommend getting an extension arm (D520B 40") too.

Versatile easy-to-use grip, smooth delivery
This is a very handy well made grip which (with a c-stand) largely expands your possibilities in experimenting with lighting and makes the whole shooting process much more fun. It is also priced quite fairly at thomann, at it was delivered to UK during Christmas holidays much earlier than I expected.

Strong Grip & Good Build Quality
Item works well and attaches as expected. Tightens to hold a good amount of weight. Used with same brand C-stand and extension arm.

Good quality material rubber grip much better than normal metal handle on c stand grips.

I use Avenger Grip heads and arms regularly for vehicle camera rigs.
They are robust and I have every confidence in their quality and know that they will not fail to hold cameras securely even at high speeds. I wouldn't use any other brand for this.
