Just get it, simple as that

I got this bass after waiting for a month and a half for the color i wanted to be in stock. No regrets. A Fender P bass of this quality, features and materials is for sure upper American line four times the price. Fretwork and the rounded fretboard are great. Very comfortable. Weight is avarage, not heavy at all. Just what you expect. Tuners are smooth, finish is beautifull and the roasted maple neck wich is satin and gloss on the headstock feels and looks great. Sound is excelent, altought subjective, I love it. It has a piano like quality with the stock roundwounds and altough i bought Labella Flats to put on right away I think i will wear out the stock strings first because they just sound great. Just get this bass, for the price it is a steal.

FANTASTIC BASS ,FANTASTIC VALUE

I have fallen head over heels with the looks ,quality and tone of this bass. A good friend that has played for over 30yrs and owned many expensive and custom basses said after playing it ' it's amazing you have a professional quality instrument for £400, I love it and prefer the neck to my £1800 fender p bass neck '

Is al die lof wel terecht?

Vandaag de P5R ontvangen. Ik heb zo veel review gelezen, allemaal vol lof, dat ik mij op de duur wat ongemakkelijk begon te voelen, en mij af begon te vragen of deze golf van positivisme niet wat overdreven was.
Tot mijn opluchting & opperste tevredenheid kan ik beamen: hoedje af voor Sire !!!
De bas wordt in onberispelijke staat aangeleverd. Ready to play. Gewoon even stemmen (de mechanieken zijn verbazingwekkend goed) en je bent vertrokken.
De P5R is licht en heeft geen neck dive.
Dat de actie een tikkeltje te hoog staat, is een persoonlijke kwestie, en zo bijgeregeld. Voor de rest is de afstelling prima.
Het eerste wat mij opvalt is de lange sustain die deze bas geeft (nochtans zitten de snaren niet through body). De klank is die van een volbloed P-Bass. De afwerking is superieur. Wat je hier krijgt is een professionele bas aan een prijs... die je eigenlijk niet kan begrijpen. De Sire P5R spurt kwalitatief moeiteloos een Squire en een Mexican P Fender voorbij.

Amazing bass, the sound, the looks, the playability... it´s inspiring really

I am a guitar player and needed a bass for my recordings. After exploring many potential options I decide to purchase this Sire Marcus Miller P5R. I am 100% happy with my choice. I can´t put it down & since I received I haven´t even touched my guitars. The instrument is just georgeous, the roasted maple neck is amazing, the sound is vintage Precission bass, I would say. Couldn´t be happier. Thank Thomann & thank you Sire for providing us with the (amazing) tools taht bring & channel our inspiration.
