I love this bass
Really excellent quality, great setup out of the box, sounds fantastic, and a large range of sounds. The tag on it says "The more you play it, the more you will like it" and it's very true. Can't recommend this enough, it is far superior to more expensive basses I own.

OVERVIEW
The sire v7 2nd generation is by far the best bass I’ve owed in this price range. Real value for money. I ordered this bass out of curiosity and now I get what the hype is all about. I would gladly recommend this bass for a beginner, an intermediate or even a professional who is looking for a bass with variety of tones and versatility but does not want to break the bank. Great bass! Great Tone!

Versatile to play for different genres
The sound gives a lot of depth and presence where you want to keep grooving, the tone is naturally deeper because of the ebony wood which gives a lot of versatility.
The only issue I had was the frets where pointy because the wood shrunk and caused some skin rashes, need to fix that.
But in the end, I love this bass tone and for the price I paid for, it was worth it.

Great bass, would recommend for anyone looking for a Jazz sound
Well built, versatile instrument. Needs minimal work to get to a great level of sound and comfort. Weight could be a con for some, but with a good strap it's not much of an issue.

Believe the hype!
You will find plenty of positive reviews online for the Sire Marcus Miller range of basses. You might be wondering, can they really be that good, or is it just hype? Well in my experience, this is the real deal.
Straight out of the box, the set-up was perfect. The tone, and the sound shaping controls for the active/passive pick-ups allow you to dial in a custom setting that feels just right without taking a long walk to your amp.
The neck feels good and the rolled edges are comfortable, maybe not life changing but nice to have.
The tension on the low-B is excellent, feels nice, plays nice, sounds nice.
It's heavier than my previous bass, but that was a semi-hollow, so I've been spoiled for a comparison.
Value for money? I'm blown away that something that sounds, looks and feels so good is available at this price point.

Best jazz under 1000€
Best jazz under 1000€, great sound, great asthetics, theres no better bass at this price. Comes with a bad setup tho, and the frets feel sharp at the edges

Really good bass, for the money
PRO: Great bass, with a very versatile sound and nice overall craftsmanship. For this price range, I think it is probably the best bass you can buy. The preamp is pretty strong.
CON: Not much really. The bass needed a very small set up, but nothing too fancy.

My first bass
I bought it thinking if I had to have one bass only, it should be something like a white jazz bass (on a budget, because Fender was out of reach).
I have nothing bad to say about it, it's nice to play, sounds good, looks perfect.
If I had to complain, I don't use the preamp so could have gone without. Also, it is not light, bet a thick strap.
