Marshall SN20H Studio 900 Head

The amp looks and sounds like a Marshall. Importantly, you can use it at home easily, unlike the little JCM800 which requires volume to sound good. Very good clean tone, plenty of gain. BUT. I bought this amp three times. The first time was from Thomann shortly after it was released. It had some strange issues with the effects loop. When reverb or delay was engaged, switching channels caused strange volume jumps. Returned it. A month later, I ordered it from another distributor. Same story. Now I’ve bought it for the third time, again from Thomann. I thought that over the course of a year, these issues had been sorted out. Guess what? The loop doesn’t work at all! Returned for the third time. I don’t know what’s going on with Marshall, but quality control is non-existent there. It’s a real shame, especially as the sound is brilliant. But sending back a new amp to repair immediately after the purchase is unacceptable.
