Martin Guitar MA-170 Authentic Acoustic Set

Hi I got two of my 1st E strings snapped, they are not coming to tuning and these are the worst I have seen in my life, please stop selling these. they are unfit to make strings.

I am still very much a novice player and tried these earlier on to see if the lighter gauge would be a bit easier on my fingers. They were, but I am a large, relatively strong bloke and found that they were too light for me. Too easy to unintentionally bend the strings or even, especially with the high E, push it over the edge of the fretboard if my finger didn't land perfectly. This might not be a problem, however, for someone with more normal sized hands. The strings themselves are very well made and produce good sound/tones, they are just not for me.

Good strings, they are my go to for playing at home

I like to tr different brand strings and this one is my first Martin brand strings. I read firstly reviews and most of them positive. I tried this set and sound bright and loud, it has a good taste of sound, you should try.

Have to say I did not expect a lot of difference from my usual Ernie Ball Earthwood 0.09's. On my Ibanez Artwood it is an improvement, love the sound. and not a lot of extra noise. yeah will order them again. Hope they last a while but most acoustic strings tone last a couple of weeks

I'm using Martin stings for years, never been disappointed. They sound really good , highly recommended.

One of my favorite things to do on a grey Sunday afternoon is put new strings on one of my guitars, very satisfying - especially old grotty strings being changed for sparkly bright new ones! Smashing.

These strings sound so crisp and bright on my HB acoustic. I will be buying more,of course you can't beat the price

Good with pick or nails, a little rough on left hand, sounds loud

The strings transformed the guitar's sound. They stay fresh for about 3 days. They're plenty long enough for studio recording.
