M-Audio SP-2
M-Audio SP-2 Review: A New Era of Driving Experience
If you've ever thought that piano pedals and car accelerator pedals had something in common, I have good news for you. As an unusual experiment, I replaced the traditional accelerator pedal in my 20-year-old VW Passat TDI 2.0 with an M-Audio SP-2 pedal. This is what came out of it.
First Impressions
By installing the M-Audio SP-2 in place of the old, grinding accelerator pedal, I felt like a true engineer of the future. The SP-2, shiny and elegant, looked a bit like it was trying to cover up the fact that it was in a car whose best days were long behind it. But hey, elegance is timeless, right?
Riding Musical Acceleration
Pressing the pedal for the first time was something extraordinary. Instead of the traditional roar of the engine, I felt as if the car was trying to play a Chopin prelude to me. The gentle yet precise pressure of the SP-2 not only aroused the throttle sensors, but also my emotions. Every millimeter of pressure made the car pick up speed with a grace I had never experienced before. It was a symphony on four wheels!
Driving Dynamics
Does the M-Audio SP-2 pedal improve driving dynamics? Well, it depends on how much you like classical music. The acceleration was gentle and gradual, like the crescendo in a symphony orchestra. Each hard press felt like a fortissimo that had me apologizing to my neighbors in the parking lot for the noise.
Efficiency and Economy
It cannot be denied that M-Audio SP-2 also had an impact on driving economy. Surprisingly, my Passat's average fuel economy has dropped! Perhaps it was because I accelerated with such finesse and precision that the diesel finally felt appreciated and returned the favor with better efficiency.
Disadvantages
Of course, there were a few problems. For example, on the highway, I had to press the pedal with force like a piano master to reach cruising speed. Another issue was the lack of noticeable feedback typical of standard accelerator pedals - it felt as if the car was trying to tell me "remember I'm just a piano pedal!"
Summary
M-Audio SP-2 as a replacement for the accelerator pedal in the 20-year-old VW Passat TDI 2.0 is a "why not?" idea. Although it is unlikely to revolutionize the automotive market, it will certainly bring a lot of joy and surprise to the faces of passers-by. If you have an old Passat and want to add a bit of musical soul to it, the SP-2 is definitely for you. It's a diesel symphony that no one expected!

Great & affordable sustain pedal
This is a great and affordable sustain pedal. I purchased it just for my midi keyboard and they work great together. Being on the affordable side, the pedal does its job well and feels solid. Recommendation from me ;)

Robi swoje
Pedał dosyć solidnie wykonany i całkiem stabilny.
Działał bez problemu po podłączeniu do klawiatury Swissonic ControlKey 88. W takiej cenie - produkt idealny.

Zawodowy sprzęt
Potrzebny był mi pedał sustains, oddelegowany do działań bojowych na scenie. Ten pedał spełnia to wszystko.

Excellent MIDI controller for beginners!
Great value for the price. The semi-weighted keys feel professional and are perfect for building technique. Solid build, minimalist design, and works perfectly with Neo Piano. Fast and secure shipping from Thomann. Highly recommended!

Jakość/Cena
Idealny stosunek jakości do ceny. Pedał jest dosyć ciężki i stabilny.
