Exceeded expectations
I started on a 6 inch Evans practice pad, because it was quiet. Found out that the marshmellow wat quieter, so gave it a try.
Truly exceeded expectations! I was afraid that the rebound would not be that good, because of the thick playing surface, but that is not the case. Definitely worth your money!

Practice makes perfect
Got this so I can practice on night shifts at work as well as practice at night when the wife and kids are asleep.
It's deathly silent and compact which makes it great to travel with as well as smashing at midnight!
The foam has a good rebound but leave you needing to hone your technique as it provides slightly less rebound than a snare, slightly more than a slackened tom - perfect to practice on and build muscle with.
