Tactile and great sound!

These sound great. They're the right sound, size and they feel nice too. I loved these when I first opened the box, and I'm thinking about buying some more.

Not great for kids/special needs, and lots of use

I work with kids, special needs groups and the elderly, and my equipment gets lots of use (15hrs a week). Eventually these Ganzas have worn, and the reed cracks and splits at the rim (where it's folded on the ends of the instrument). Maybe this is because I stored them in my garage which gets a bit damp? Maybe its because so many of the people I work with liked to hold and twist these backwards and forwards, again and again - like I said, they feel really nice...

If you're not sharing these around - I think these will be really rewarding and loveable for a long time to come.
