Meinl TMT1R Tambourin Red

I've been using this Tambourin now for over 3 years and the form handle has completely fallen off and there is probably 8 disks left on it. But think about it, you're banging the crap out of this week in week out it's not going to last forever, but I'm impressed its served me this long.

It does sound really nice and it has no problem cutting through a band in fact its probably a bit loud if you're going to use it for an acoustic gig.

I will get another one and continue to buy Meinl Tambourins as I think they are the best around.

A great tambourine by Meinl! Although the foam handle took a bit of getting used to, this tambourine is very comfortable to play and produces a nice sound. Suits most styles of music. It produces quite a "dry" sound (especially when recorded) so if you're after more of a shimmering effect this probably isn't the tambourine for you.

There's a lovely bright timbre to this tambourine and the quality of the build ensures that you can shake it without it falling to bits! The foam handle allows you to keep a good grip while still being comfortable. There are cheaper options, but I am happy I got this so that any novice can have a play too.

Nice little Hi hat Tambourine. It is very nice strong quality, looks pretty good, and sounds sweet. It adds a nice dimension to your kit that fills most songs quite well.
