Neotech Tux Saxophone Strap XL

For many years I have used the larger Neotech straps on my saxes, tenor and alto, and the comfort and quality is supreme. The bounce you get from the stretchy collar takes half of the weight of the horn off your neck literally. I ordered this smaller strap as the bigger one looks a bit ugly with evening dress at formal performances.

It arrived and I used it for half of one gig before I had to swap back to the larger one. It had none of the weight-removing quality of the larger one, even with the alto I soon had a sore neck leading to a lasting headache! In addition, I found the strings which you have to wrap around a plastic toggle awkward to sue, and one string soon pinged undone, leaving me feeling vulnerable about the sax falling, and using my arms much more to carry the weight of the sax. I think it should only be used for soprano sax.
I would actually like a refund if it were possible?
